In July, I met my aunt Kelly for the first time; I was very impressed by her boots. We dropped granma off on Heathrow and visited Kew gardens on the way back. I became more active in July: watch me on this video

My big day in July was on the 13th, when I was baptised in the Dutch Church in London. You can see me getting dressed in my 90 years old baptisme robe (from the Walmsley side of the family), in the front of the church around the baptisme font and with the god parents and in my robe in the back of the church just after the service with my parents and Kelly and Penny. My parents shook hands with all who had attended the service.

You can read the key part of the service back in this liturgy and this baptism declaration. Back at home, we had a small get together with a drink and a dip in the pond in the garden downstairs.

Oma stayed the rest of the week. I greatly enjoyed singing Dutch nursery rhymes with her or just sitting on oma's lap.

What else did July bring? Certainly more swimming, more coffee drinking with my friend Laure's mum, more playing in the bath with mum and my duck, more sitting outside on the terrace with mum, more naps in the pram, and more pictures of me drooling over my rattle in my bouncy chair.

Finally, at the end of July, my father's cousin Aleid came over for a visit to London and me. She left on the day my friends from the antenatal class came over for a visit. Our mothers like to line us all up for a laugh even if we all have to cry!
